A body has been found in the search for a 19-year-old man who went missing in Swindon.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Officers carrying out searches for missing man James Phillips have today located a body.
“The discovery was made at a field in the Blunsdon area of Swindon earlier today (23 October).
“Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of James Phillips have been made aware of the development.
“Our thoughts are with them at this very sad time.
”We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances and a file will now be prepared for HM Coroner.
”We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and Wiltshire Search and Rescue for their assistance over the past week.”
