At least one man has been arrested after a serious assault in Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called an incident in Bramley Lane, on the Longfield estate, at around 7.30pm this evening (Wednesday).
It’s understood that one person sustained serious injuries to their neck in an attack, which many locals claim was a stabbing.

The wounded casualty, thought to be a male, was found in nearby Brown Street – having reportedly run out of Bramley Lane via a footpath.
Armed police and a dog unit were deployed as Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance medics treated the injured person alongside local ambulance crews.
Both Bramley Lane and Brown Street have been cordoned off, with detectives on scene.
At least one man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was seen to be cuffed and taken into the back of a police car.

Police appear to be focused on two properties in Bramley Lane, and the road outside.
Forensic investigation work is expected to be undertaken in due course. Cordons could remain in place overnight.
