The Assistant Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police is on patrol in Swindon this evening.

ACC Deb Smith, who was appointed in May after 21 years as a police officer, joined Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Lee Hare on a bicycle earlier today.

The duo are expected to be on patrol in the North Swindon area until later tonight, with the ACC offering up the chance for local residents to meet her in a Facebook Live video.

How can you meet ACC Smith and PSCO Hare?

Simply visit the Swindon Police Facebook page and post a comment noting a location in which you’d like to see them patrol. When you spot them, pop outside to say hello.
