Police were seen to raid a house in Swindon in the early hours of this morning, after they received reports of a person armed with a weapon – possibly a gun – near the Magic Roundabout.
Half a dozen officers equipped with firearms entered a home on County Road at around 5am.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that they attended the incident.
“Officers were called just before 5am today to reports that a weapon had been seen in this area.
“However, when we arrived and after a search of a property no weapon was found.”
The police did not confirm what type of weapon was sighted.
