A man is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash on the A36 near Salisbury.
The main route is closed between the A338 Salisbury and A27 Whiteparish following the serious road traffic collision at approximately 3.30am this morning (6 July).
The casualty was taken to Southampton Hospital with injuries described by police as “life-threatening”.
The road is expected to remain closed until midday. Drivers are urged to follow the diversions.
