UPDATE: Woman, 50s, dies following five-vehicle crash on A350 in Chippenham
The A350 is closed in Chippenham after one person was critically injured in a crash.
Emergency services were called to the major route between Chequers Roundabout and Lackham Roundabout at around 5pm today (Friday).
Multiple vehicles were involved in the road traffic collision – leaving several people injuries.
One person has been rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition for urgent care. Several other people are said to be walking wounded.
The A350 is expected to remain closed until tomorrow morning (Saturday, 2 December).
