A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Wiltshire on Saturday morning (3 May).
52-year-old Darren Hughes died after suffering knife wounds in an attack at an address in Davies Road, Longhenge, near Salisbury.
Ambulance crews and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance had attended the scene, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Alfie Miller, of Willow Drive in Durrington, has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (5 May).
Darren Hughes’ “family are being supported by specialist officers and our thoughts remain with them”, a force spokesperson said.
Adding: “We ask that their privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.
“Cordons outside of the property have been removed but a continued police presence will remain in the area for several days.”
