A man with links to Swindon is being hunted by police over a stabbing.

Christian Lund is wanted following a knife attack in Oxfordshire on Sunday (15 December).

A man, aged in his late teens, suffered a stab wound to his back in an assault near The Bay Tree pub in Grove shortly before 5pm.

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, and he has since been discharged from hospital.

Police now want to question 23-year-old Lund – who has links to Swindon – over the incident.

He is described as being around five foot eight inches tall with wavy dark blond hair.

Detective Inspector Richard Allmond, of Abingdon CID, said: “I am releasing an image of Christian Lund and appealing for the public’s help in locating him so we can speak to him about this incident.

“If anybody knows of his whereabouts, we would ask you to report this to us via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240606332.

“If you see him, do not approach him, but call us on 999.

“I would also appeal directly to Christian, if you see this, please report to your nearest police station as soon as possible so we can talk to you about this incident.

“Anybody who witnessed the incident is also urged to contact Thames Valley Police, or for anonymity, the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
