Two missing men seen in Chippenham are accused of sexually abusing a boy.

Thames Valley Police are searching for Adam Hastings and Reece Upton, from Newbury, following their disappearance at around 3pm on Thursday (13 June).

Officers traced the pair, who are both aged 28, to Chippenham – where they were spotted on CCTV within a charity shop on Saturday (15 June).

The men were initially dealt with a missing people, but police have since confirmed that they are wanted in connection with a number of sexual offences reported by a victim, a teenage boy.

They were last seen wearing the clothing in the picture, and have links to the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire areas.

Detective Inspector Bill Sykes said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Adam Hastings and Reece Upton and we are working closely with our partners in Wiltshire but we are now appealing for the public’s help.

“Hastings and Upton are now both wanted in relation to sexual offences in Newbury between 21 April and 13 June.

“If you see Hastings or Upton, we advise members of the public to not approach them and call 999.

“If you know where they are or may have seen them, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240279403/ 54240070489.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”

In an update, Wiltshire Police said the suspects are still believed to be in the local area.
