Beechcroft Road in Swindon has been closed due to a car fire this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the scene near Merton Avenue at around 12.45pm today.
The male driver of the BMW managed to get out of the car before it was fully ablaze. Luckily, he didn’t have his two children in the car at the time of the fire.
The road reopened at around 1.45pm.
