A woman’s been injured in a crash in Swindon town centre today (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision in Commercial Road at around 3pm.
A car impacted a bollard and subsequently struck a building close to the Regent Circus precinct. The building isn’t believed to have been significantly damaged.
She sustained minor injuries and was assessed by paramedics at the incident. It’s not clear if she was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Locals have suggested the vehicle was travelling the wrong way down Commercial Road when the collision happened, but this has not been confirmed by Wiltshire Police.
No arrests were made, the force confirmed.
