Police officers who stopped a vehicle in west Wiltshire yesterday have successful located and closed down a cannabis factory as a result of the traffic stop.

Community Coordinator for west Wiltshire, PC Amy Hardman, tweeted a photo of an officer carrying the find and said: “I think this counts as a positive search!”.

A 37-year-old from Staverton, near Bradford-on-Avon, was arrested.

Today, Friday 3 February, Wiltshire Police confirmed that Aaron Baker, who lives locally, has been charged with being concerned in the production of class B drugs.

He is due to appear at North West Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court on 23 February.
