A serious incident involving a child at Center Parcs has sparked a significant emergency response.

Several ambulances and Wiltshire Air Ambulance were called to the scene in Longleat Forest, near Warminster, at around 11am today (Christmas Eve).

It’s understood the resort’s swimming pool, where the incident is said to have happened, was evacuated and is now closed to guests.

One visitor told Wiltshire 999s that they were evacuated whilst swimming – when “someone was having CPR administered”.

Center Parcs UK confirmed the incident occurred in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise pool, but refused to comment further at this time.
