Specialist search teams are working alongside Wiltshire Police this evening to help locate a man who as gone missing from his home in Salisbury.
John Newman, aged 81, was last seen at approximately 2pm today in Cathedral Close.
John is described as approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and of medium build. He was wearing navy cord trousers, a blue checked shirt and a blue knitted waistcoat with a blue waterproof coat.
Officers are carrying out searches with the assistance of Wiltshire Search and Rescue (WILSAR) and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen John, or has information regarding his whereabouts.
