The incident – which has not yet been confirmed by police – happened last night, Wednesday 8 November, in Axbridge Close off Welcome Avenue in Park North.

According to a family member, posting on social media, the victim was outside her partner’s flat when two men violently attacked her from behind.

The attackers are said to have attempted to pull down her trousers during the incident.

Following the attack, the two men fled in the direction of Welcome Avenue.

The first man is described as black, big build, wearing a puffer jacket.

The second man is described as slim, tall and wearing a tracksuit.
