More than a dozen of police vehicles were seen parked on Dorcan Way this morning, as officers prepared to attend an address in Park South.
A number of armed police officers dressed in tactical clothing and helmets were seen stood on the side of the busy main road outside the Holiday Inn at around 11am.
The police then swiftly moved from the meeting point on Dorcan Way and entered an address in Whitbourne Avenue at around 11.45am.
It’s believed that there were concerns about a person with a knife at the address.
We approached Wiltshire Police for comment, however, due to the domestic nature of the incident they were unable to release further information at this time.
