Residents of a road in Swindon have been told to stay indoors this morning as armed police officers respond to an incident in the area.
A large number of police vehicles could be seen in the Faringdon Road, Lorne Street and Cambria Place areas from around 6.30am.
A number of roads are closed as police attend the scene.
The exact nature of the incident is unclear at this stage, but one local believes it is a ‘drugs raid’ on a property in the area.
