The police helicopter and drone are currently in the skies above Corsham as officers try to locate a missing man.
John Roberts, 74, went missing from his home in the town earlier this afternoon. He suffers with dementia and requires medication; police say they are concerned for his welfare.
He is described as 5 foot 7 inches tall, with thinning grey hair. He is believed to be wearing a blue fleece, grey trousers and black shoes.
Anyone who may have seen John or anyone who may have information about his whereabouts should call police on 101 and quote log number 170 of today, or 999 in an emergency.
Two armed officers — also police UAV pilots — are parked in Queens Avenue, flying the drone from there.
