We’re raising money to give directly to the family who have been affected by this devastating fire. The funds will help support them through an incredibly hard time, and make re-building their life that little bit easier.
A Swindon road is blocked this evening as firefighters battle a house blaze.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene in Penhill Drive at around 6pm.
Two fire appliances from Swindon and Stratton are in attendance.
The road, between Lacock Road and Corsham Road, is closed as firefighters work at the scene.
It’s not believed anyone’s been injured.
A fire spokesperson said: “Crews from Swindon and Stratton St Margaret used one hose reel, one covering jet, four breathing apparatus, and small gear to extinguish the fire.”
