Warminster police officers met residents and local organisations at a community showcase in Heytesbury.
Officers from the Warminster Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the Heytesbury Community Showcase at St Peter & St Paul Church on Saturday 5 September.
The event brought together local clubs, societies, charities and volunteer organisations, alongside makers and artists from the area.
Police officers spoke with residents and visitors throughout the afternoon, offering crime prevention advice and providing information leaflets aimed at helping people keep their communities safe.
The event also gave officers an opportunity to hear directly from local people, discuss any concerns and build relationships with residents.
Officers also met Dr Andrew Murrison MP, Member of Parliament for South West Wiltshire, during the showcase.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team thanked the event organisers, exhibitors and those who attended for supporting local groups and celebrating the community spirit across the area’s rural communities.
