A lane remains closed on Thamesdown Drive after a traffic light was damaged in a crash earlier today (Friday).
Swindon Borough Council said its highways team has cleared the road and made the area safe, allowing the route to partially reopen to traffic.
One lane remains temporarily closed while the council’s traffic signal provider assesses the damage and makes plans to replace the traffic light.
Drivers are being thanked for their patience while the work is carried out.
Nobody is thought to have been seriously injured in the collision.
The council is also reminding members of the public that damaged traffic lights and other street furniture can be reported through its website.
