The family of a nurse who died following a crash on the A419 say they have been ‘overwhelmed’ by the ‘outpouring of love’ since the tragedy.
38-year-old Sarah Jayne Crook was killed when a a Vauxhall Vivaro van collided with her Toyota Aygo on the flyover above White Hart Roundabout on Friday (5 June).
In a statement released to the media, her family said: “On Friday 5th June, we lost an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, Sarah Jayne Crook, to a tragic collision.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and respect for her and the support for ourselves.
“We would like to say thank you to the hundreds of people who have sent condolences and memories of her.
“Please respect the family’s privacy at this time. Funeral details will be released when known.”
Sarah, a mum-of-six, was a nurse at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. A fundraiser launched to help her family has raised a staggering £25,971.
