A man sporting a Superman robe has been arrested after a paedophile hunter sting.
A self-styled child protection group attended a property in the Moredon area of Swindon at around 7.30pm on Thursday evening (19 March).
The suspect, a man aged in his 60s, came to the door and spoke with the team before officers arrived at the scene shortly after 8pm.
During the sting operation, the hunters accused him of having a sexualised conversation with a 14-year-old girl.
They also claim he sent indecent images of himself to what he believed was a child.
He was arrested on suspicion of engaging sexual communication with a child and taken to custody at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that he remained in the cells for questioning this afternoon (Friday).
“Enquiries are ongoing”, a spokesperson for the force said.
