The A429 near a motorway junction is blocked after a three-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the busy road just north of the M4 at Junction 17, near Chippenham, at around 9am this morning (Thursday).
The incident is understood to have involved three vehicles. It’s not yet clear if anyone’s been seriously injuries in the smash.
There are several police vehicles and an ambulance in attendance.
Google Maps shows significant traffic build-up in both directions.
UPDATE 9.30AM: Police are controlling traffic – with motorists able to pass the scene. They were delays on the approach.
