Police are said to be investigating an incident of criminal damage on the Bowood Estate.
A patch of grass outside the Golden Gates in Church Road was damaged by a driver performing ‘doughnuts’ on Monday afternoon (26 January).
The incident was reported to Wiltshire Police – with staff urging witnesses or anyone with footage to contact them directly with evidence or information.
A spokesperson for the estate said: “The Bowood Estate is saddened to see the damage caused to the grass outside the Golden Gates on Monday afternoon.
“We can assure you that the area will be repaired as soon as possible, and we appreciate everyone’s patience while this work is carried out.
“The incident has been reported to the police. If anyone has any information or camera footage that may be helpful, we kindly ask that it is shared directly with them.
“Thank you in advance for your care and support of the Bowood Estate.”
