The bomb squad have been called in after ‘ammunition’ was handed into a Swindon shop.
Police were called to Greenbridge Retail Park at around 10am this morning (Tuesday).
Suspected military ammunition was reportedly taken to the Cancer Research charity shop.
Due to the explosion risk, officers cordoned off the area and evacuated numerous stores.
The bomb squad have been deployed and are en route to the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware that we have cordoned off a store in Greenbridge Retail Park, Swindon, after suspected military ammunition was handed in.
“We are awaiting attendance by Explosive Ordnance Disposal to dispose of the items safely.”
