A pair seen ‘romping’ on a play park bench in Calne are children, police say.
Wiltshire Police launched an investigation following a report about two people engaged in sexual activity in broad daylight on 6 January.
The incident took place at the Duncan Street Play Area, behind Cornflower Close and Bluebell Grove, at around 2.25pm.
The force has confirmed that following an appeal to identify the two people involved, they have been located and spoken to about the behaviour.
The pair are children, and as such have been given words of advice. Officers have now closed their investigation.
