UPDATE: Pair seen ‘romping’ on play park bench in Calne are children, police say


Police are hunting a duo who ‘acted inappropriately’ on a play park bench in Calne.

Officers are investigating an incident at Duncan Street Play Area on 6 January.

Two people were reportedly seen engaging in inappropriate behaviour on a bench at the park behind Cornflower Close and Bluebell Grove.

Wiltshire Police has not revealed exactly what conduct was reported to them – but it’s believed they were involved in sexual activity.

A spokesperson said: “We are keen to identify the two individuals pictured following an incident near to the Duncan Street play area in Calne.

“The pair were seen acting inappropriately on a park bench and we are keen to speak with them.

“The incident happened at approximately 2.25pm on January 6.

“Anyone with information should email [email protected] and quote crime reference number 54260001656.”
