A Calne man has been charged with causing the death of a woman in a head-on crash.
Matthew Gunning is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (9 December).
The 39-year-old, of Braemor Road, faces an allegation that on 26 February 2024 he killed Sheila Chilcott -known as Gail- by driving without due care and attention.
The woman, aged in her 60s and from Melksham, died after a road traffic collision involving a Vauxhall Zafira and Dacia Sandero.
It happened on the A3102 near Calne. Mr Gunning was driving the Vauxhall and Ms Chilcott was driving the Dacia.
