A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Swindon town centre.
Emergency services were called to a knife attack outside Barclays in Regent Street at around 11.35pm on Thursday night (4 December).
Paramedics treated a man, aged in his 30s, for an injury to his leg. He was taken to hospital for further care.
While the wound was caused by a blade, it is not thought to be serious.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in custody for questioning.
According to a local resident, an ambulance and numbers police vehicles were at the scene – which was cordoned off but lifted a short time later.
The news comes just 24 hours after the stabbing in Penhill, which left a man seriously hurt.
At the same time, a stabbing also occurred in Devizes, with a 74-year-old man arrested.
