A toddler has sustained serious injuries in a dog attack at a home in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to an incident at property in Homington Avenue, Badbury Park, on Sunday afternoon (30 November).
A two-year-old child was rushed to hospital with “serious facial injuries” after being bitten by a dog, Wiltshire Police confirmed.
A woman, aged in her 20s and believed to be the victim’s mother, was arrested on suspicion of owning or being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
Wiltshire 999s understands that three dogs – reportedly an XL Bully and two French bulldogs – reside at the property.
The spokesperson for the force said that the dog involved in the attack has been seized, but would not confirm the breed.
Locals reported seeing several police vehicles, including a dog unit, at the scene.
