A careless driver has admitted seriously injuring a woman in a crash in Melksham.
32-year-old Daniel Taylor, of Mayenne Place, Devizes, appeared before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 20 August.
He pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention.

It follows a crash involving the defendant’s red Vauxhall Astra, which ploughed into the back of a red Nissan Micra – which was reportedly slowing down.
The occupant, Isabelle Pearce – aged in her 40s – sustained “potentially life-changing injuries”, according to police at the time.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be compiled. Taylor will return to the same court for sentencing on Friday 7 November.
