The victim of a brutal broad-daylight stabbing in Swindon has been named locally.
18-year-old Owen Dunn was killed in an attack in Torun Way, near Thamesdown Drive, at around 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon (4 December).
Police said witnesses claimed that two males wearing balaclavas and armed with knives carried out the violent assault before fleeing the area.
Tributes have been posted across social media following the man’s death.
Harry Coe posted a photograph of Owen smiling, adding: “Lit up every room you went in. Still can’t process this all. Rest easy my mate.”
His girlfriend, Melissa Beeton, shared a photograph of Owen with the caption: “my angel baby, I love you with my whole heart xx”
Lauren Page penned: “i dreamt this was a mistake and now im awake in this living nightmare………..love you my baby nephew watch over us love you darling xxxx”
Jack Davis said: “always be family my bro”.
Finley Roberts said: “You will forever be in my heart, you made a difference to all our days. We’ll never forget you. Not only a friend but a brother for life. Love you o.”
Tasker Davis wrote: “I love you bro, we bonded with how broken we were, we helped each other in the darkest of times, golden boy you are forever in our hearts brother, I miss you dearly.”
