A woman’s body was found in a garden pond at a house in Wiltshire.
Emergency services were called to an incident in Southbrook Road, Melksham on Thursday (8 June).
Paramedics declared the woman, who was aged in her 80s, dead at the scene.
A short time later, two fire engines and a specialist rescue unit attended the address to assist.
Wiltshire Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
“A file will be prepared on behalf of HM Coroner”, a force spokesperson added.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they sent two fire crews – from Chippenham and Trowbridge – along with a technical rescue team from Trowbridge.
