A woman selling a school uniform on Facebook has been ‘bombarded with sexual messages’.
The victim uploaded an item of Frome College uniform to Marketplace before being targeted by a profile sending “nasty” messages.
She reported the incident to Avon and Somerset Police and warned others on social media – describing the person as a ‘real weirdo’.
Following the concerning online encounter, the woman removed her post and instead gave the uniform to the college.
“A creepy guy is stalking me on FB and sending me sexualised messages about a Frome College uniform I put up on fb marketplace”, she wrote.
Adding: “It looks like a fake profile, but I have reported to Facebook and obviously blocked them.
“This is just a warning to be careful on social media, there are some real weirdos out there!
“I will take the uniform to the college and remove my marketplace listing as this is really gross.”
Since the public post on Facebook, others have come forward – claiming to have been targeted by the same profile, recieving similar sexualised messages.
