A woman has been charged after a vehicle hit a lamppost in Melksham.
Wiltshire Police were called to a road traffic collision in Bath Road on 13 November.
A car impacted a lamppost opposite Lidl, and the driver was arrested at the scene.
Sarah Shott has since been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
The 49-year-old, of Trent Crescent, Melksham, is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 20 December.
PC Langley said: “Drink driving is one of the fatal five offences and we will not hesitate to take robust action against those who break these laws.”
