One person’s died and three others have been hurt following a serious crash on the M4.
Emergency crews, including an air ambulance, were called to the westbound carriageway between junctions 14 and 15 – near Membury Services – at just before 11.30am this morning.
A single vehicle, a minibus carrying ten passengers, was involved in the collision.
Three of the passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon, while a woman was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she died.
On Thursday, another minibus crash claimed the lives of three staff members from Prior’s Court on the opposite of the same stretch of road.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police commented: “This is another tragic incident on our roads, and our thoughts are with all those who have been effected.
“If anyone has information about the collision, whether you witnessed the collision itself or have dashcam footage please come forward. Call 101, quoting reference number 5151 (13/10).”
