A woman is fighting for her life in hospital following a crash on A420 in Faringdon.
The incident happened on the main route ten miles east of Swindon at around 7am this morning (Monday, 24 October).
A red Alfa Romeo veered off the road and into a field.
The driver, a woman whose age has not been confirmed, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital. She remains in a critical condition.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward and speak to police.
Investigating officer, PC Deborah Green, based at Abingdon police station, said: “We are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen or have dashcam footage of this incident.
