A woman has died after 999 crews swarmed a street in Corsham.
Emergency services were called to an incident at an address in Dicketts Road at around 5.30pm yesterday afternoon (Monday 18 March).
Approximately eight police vehicles, an ambulance and a Wiltshire Air Ambulance rapid response car were spotted in attendance.
A woman, aged in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A house in the road was cordoned off with crime scene tape as detectives rushed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
Officers stood guard over the property while CID carried out enquiries, with the scene released by shortly before 8pm. A private ambulance arrived later.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
They added: “A file will be prepared on behalf of the coroner.”
