A woman has been charged with causing a teen’s death in a Swindon crash.

Emergency services battled to save the life of 14-year-old Harry Parker when he was struck by a car in Akers Way on 25 November 2022.

The youngster was walking to school when the fatal collision happened on a crossing.

Ivy Mwangi has been charged with causing death by careless driving and for causing death by driving a vehicle without a licence and insurance.

The 52-year-old, from North Swindon, is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (26 March).
