Wiltshire firefighters battled a major thatched cottage blaze in Oxfordshire last night.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, alongside a number of crews from Swindon and Wiltshire attended the fire in the village of Compton Beauchamp, near Shrivenham and Uffington at around 9pm last night, Saturday 15 April.

Around 35 firefighters were said to have been fighting the fire at its peak.
British Red Cross’ Emergency Response Unit also attended the scene to support the occupants of the home, who were not injured in the fire.
