Emergency services are dealing with a serious assault in Swindon this evening.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in Pinehurst at just before 7pm, dropping off a critical care paramedic to treat a male who has suffered stab wounds in an attack on The Circle.
More than a dozen police officers swarmed the area outside One Stop following the assault, with two dog units called to the incident in an attempt to track the suspects involved.
The air ambulance immediately left the without a casualty but left critical care medics at the scene.
The casualty is believed to have been transported to Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol by land ambulance with a police escort. His condition is unknown at this stage.
