Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in Swindon for a serious medical emergency today.
The helicopter touched down on a field at Naglo Sports and Leisure Club off Cricklade Road at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
Critical care medics provided local ambulance crews assistance with a casualty within a private address in Duchess Way.
The patient was taken to Great Western Hospital by land ambulance, accompanied by air ambulance medics who were later collected by the helicopter.
