Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in Chippenham last night (Saturday).
The yellow and green aircraft touched down in a field off Hungerdown Lane, near Southmead housing estate, at around 11.30pm.
Critical care medics were swiftly collected by a paramedic officer in a rapid response vehicle and taken to the serious medical incident nearby.
