A Warminster man has been charged with rape and assault on a woman.
Mark Cannings is due to appear before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday, 10 May).
The 24-year-old, of St George’s Close, faces allegations of rape, sexual assault by penetration and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a woman.
Due to the nature of case, it will likely be sent to a crown court for a plea hearing in June.
