A wanted man has been arrested in Swindon after crashing into a police car.
Police swarmed Penhill at around 2.30pm this afternoon (Tuesday) as they chased a motorcycle that had been spotted without number plates.
The rider failed to stop for officers in Atworth Close, before driving down a dead-end road. Instead of giving up, he drove at a stationary police car – colliding with it.
The man, aged in his 20s, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop.
The suspect was also wanted on a recall to prison – where he will be returned there after questioning in police custody.
A second man, aged in his 20s, was also arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
