A wanted man has been arrested after police were called to a crash in Chippenham.
Officers responded to a road traffic collision on Marshfield Road, at the junction with Audley Road, at about midday on Monday morning (20 July).
When the details of one of the drivers involved was ran through the police system, they discovered he was wanted by Dorset Police.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody – likely to be transferred to the neighbouring force.
Wiltshire Police and Dorset Police said they were unable to find information relating to the arrest, and therefore couldn’t confirm for what offence he was wanted.
Nobody sustained injuries in the crash, and the road was clear by 1pm.
