A violent domestic abuser with links to the Cotswolds is wanted by police.
Officers are trying to track down Jason May, who has been recalled to prison following a breach of his licence.
The 38-year-old was jailed in 2023 for four attacks on his partner during their relationship.
The violence included dragging the woman by her hair and pushing her onto a glass table so hard that it smashed beneath her.
Now, Gloucestershire Constabulary are hunting the criminal to return him to prison – where he will likely serve the rest of his 45-month sentence.
May is understood to have links to the North Cotswolds area, including Mickleton, Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh.
He also is known to frequent Cheltenham, Gloucester and Evesham.
May is described as being 5ft 9ins in height, of a heavy build and with short brown hair.
Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach, but to call police on 999 instead.
