An uninsured woman driver crashed a car into a play park before fleeing.
Police were called to a report that a vehicle had collided with the children’s park in Tidworth Road, Ludgershall, at around 1.15m on 25 February.
The fencing around the park sustained extensive damage and an investigation was launched.
Officers later located a damaged car parked at an address in the area.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was subsequently reported to court – and the vehicle was seized after the owner was found to have no insurance.
PC Nicholas Gray said: “If you are involved in a road traffic collision, you must report it to us as soon as possible and within 24 hours.
“It is also the responsibility of the driver to ensure that they have insurance for the vehicle.”
