Undercover armed police swooped on a trio of suspects near a Swindon supermarket.
The plain-clothed officers, who could be seen carrying rifles and pistols, jumped out of unmarked police vehicles at Orbital Shopping Park yesterday (Tuesday, 8 November).
They immediately detained two men and a woman before arresting them on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Simultaneously, specialist Fortitude officers raided an apartment in Thorley Court, off Emerson Close in Abbey Meads.
Two dog units attended the address to assist plain-clothed officers with searches at around 11am.
The suspects were taken into custody for questioning. The investigation is ongoing.
